Go to Western North Carolina near Brevard or Ashville.

Stop in a bike shop and get a mountain bike guide series book called Off the beaten path ,Western NC Pisgah by Jim Parham.Thats it..Great Stuff.

First Trail Marathon in area.Half Marathon and Marathon will enjoy a 13.1 mile loop of beautiful singletrack and a few fire roads,along with a couple nice hills also.Marathon Runners will do 2 loops,Half Marathon doing 1 loop.The hand made awards for the top 3 in each age group are worth the pain and suffering.
